Memic Initiates Clinical Trial of Innovative Transvaginal Robotic Hysterectomy

Memic has initiated a two-center clinical trial to investigate the use of the company’s cutting-edge Hominis™ Surgical System robotic platform in the performance of transvaginal hysterectomy.

The trial is led by Rambam Healthcare Campus in Haifa, Israel, and by Imelda Hospital in Bonheiden, Belgium. Both hospitals are considered to be centers of excellence in their respective countries, and stand at the innovative forefront of gynecologic, oncologic, and robotic-assisted surgery.

Memic’s robotic-assisted surgery innovation allows for unprecedented maneuverability and access in a wide variety of clinical scenarios, enabling surgical procedures that would be impossible or unfeasible using traditional methods.
